The school utilizes an American oriented curriculum.
The curriculum is designed to integrate the critical tasks of reading and writing to develop lifelong readers ,writers ,and thinkers. Students will emerge from readiness to read to successful readers who enjoy reading a variety of written materials. They will read independently using reading strategies appropriate for their grade level. The program used includes a variety of selections designed to appreciate literacy.
Students will use the writing process, including prewriting (idea web), drafting, revising, editing and publishing. They will express their ideas, feelings and thoughts, as well as creative writing. They will use some materials from other media to enhance their writing. They will use the conventions (Spelling, grammar, and punctuation, etc.) correctly. Such learning is accomplished within the context of a student's own writing. Students will read like a writer and write for a reader.
Students will learn to use oral language , non-verbal communication skills, group skills and media communication skills. This will result in a successful confident communication.
